  1. I wanted to add the young man’s name, who was so helpful to me. There wasn’t a spot to put his name on the survey. His name was Kelvin, and he works at the Target store on the West end of Billings, MT. He was so kind, helpful and patient.

  2. Cashiers are not ensuring customers receive the sale price on items. For example, buy-one-get-one-half-off items are being entered as two totally different brands, which makes the customer pay more than they should for identical products.

This practice does not save the customer money or support the retailer’s promotional items. I do not know whether this was a deliberate act, but in today’s economy, most purchases are made prudently. I am sharing this experience so it will not happen to other customers.

It was disheartening to know I had purchased two items only because I thought I was getting a sale price, only to find out later that I had paid full price for both.

  3. I purchased one item today at Jacksonville West Target on Crosshill Blvd. I paid with cash. My purchase was made at 8:48 a.m. for $16.13. I wanted to get something for my granddaughter.

I found it very interesting and yet somewhat appalling that the cashier, Angela (an older woman of colour), made a whole issue out of my paying for the item with a $100.00 bill.

It was my method of payment. She decried that she only had so much change. She asks whether you have anything smaller. She decried that it would wipe her out. She decried that it was too early, and a customer behind me agreed. I stood there thinking, Wow!

    1. I enjoy shopping at Target. With so many boycotting your store, I still shop here. I have never seen a sign that says no large bills.

    2. It’s not my problem if there is not enough money in the till at 8:48 a.m. All she had to do was ask for the $100 to be broken down after I left. Customer service and the shopping experience should be the primary focus!

    3. Interestingly, I saw money still in the till when she gave me my change.

    4. I don’t believe a cashier should complain about the method of payment. Your store is a business; the goal is to sell merchandise, make money, and give me what I want.

I hope she will do better. I’m still going to have a great day despite her lack of “not-so-friendly customer service.”

  4. Tonight at 8:50 pm. I visited the target at Sherwood Forest. I was very disappointed with the customer service. The male cashier, without a name tag, was highly attentive to the customers ahead of me. After he finished their transaction, I said good evening, but he didn’t respond. He scanned the items, and I began bagging the merchandise. Then, he asked me if I had a phone number with Target. I replied, ” Yes,” and he could add it to the system as I was bagging the items. He responded, “I could add it to the keypad. I told him he could see me bagging my items, and I would do it when I was done. He shrugged and said, “Take your time.” I paid for the items, and he closed the service with “God Bless You.” I found this interaction lacking in customer service, especially since he was very attentive to the previous customers. It makes me wonder if they received special treatment because they belong to the same background, and I belong to a different minority. I had been a customer for years, and I continued to be a customer because of your customer service.

  5. I had the best day ever shopping at Target, everyone was so nice and helpful. I’m disabled, and I am very grateful to all the employees who have helped me. Target is the best place to shop. Thank you so much.

  6. I was pleased with your employees’ actions. I was given prompt attention when I looked at my receipt and saw that I had been overcharged.

  7. A 30% discount was noted below the item, but it was charged at full price. When I showed the error to an employee, he sent me to the return counter, where they corrected it to my satisfaction.

  8. I want to give a special shout-out to one of the employees at 2191 N Tustin Street, the Orange location. His first name is Alex, and his nickname is “Sasha” on the name plate. I was looking for distilled water, and he was stocking the drinking water bottle. I told him this was my second trip here, looking at the empty shelf. He said, ” Please wait until I finish what I am doing, then I will look in the back room. After about twenty minutes, I went back to the water sections. He found three big bottles and agreed to look for more once he is done loading. At the end, I was happy to leave with 9 bottles while Alex spoke with the inventory person to order more. This is personalized service at its best, and I really appreciate the help I received.

  9. Due to my disability and limited income, I seldom visit the 6655 N. Riverside Dr. store #2744. However, I rely on the optical services there, as they accept my insurance. The excellent care from Mario and his team makes each trip worthwhile. The security/greeter, Adrian, has twice seen me coming into the store struggling with my walker and brought out one of your scooters for me! Yesterday, I was having a particularly difficult day getting around, and Adrian brought a scooter out to me. Thank you, Adrian and Mario, with your team!

  10. I visited the store today, and the cashier was miserable and insulting. I had my 2-year-old and 4-year-old grandsons with me, and one of them was crying in the cart. He was annoyed, and I said, “Sometimes toddlers act this way,” and he said, “Not necessarily.” I find it hard to believe that no other toddlers cry while in the store, and I feel that his behavior was unacceptable. I am in Target every week, multiple days, and I will never go in his line again!

  11. I went to Target to buy a gift card and picked up Vitamin Water. The sign said two for $9, but I was charged $699 each.

Just noticed when I got home.
